How to quickly dry laundry in winter when you don’t have a dryer? 6 effective tips

Most people don’t have a clothes dryer to quickly dry clothes that have just come out of the washing machine. So what to do when it starts to get cold or you don’t have time to let your clothes finish drying on their own?

Here are 6 simple tricks to drastically reduce drying time

1. Start with washing:

If your clothes are not delicate and you don’t want to damage them, increase the spin cycle. The higher the spin cycle, the more excess water is removed from fabrics.

2. The towel trick:

This is a very effective trick, especially with clothes that have been washed in the washing machine.

Spread a  clean towel  (or even two) on a flat surface. Lay the garment over it, stretching it well to avoid wrinkles, then start rolling the towel around the garment (like a sponge cake rolled up in a Christmas log), so that the towel absorbs the most humidity.

You can also try using an extra towel laid over the garment before rolling it up. Follow the steps a second time with another dry towel.
